HAUSMANN furniture and friends is a cabinetmaking workshop located in the heart of Gràcia, Barcelona. The studio specializes in designing and building bespoke furniture for businesses and private clients, adding a personal touch throughout the entire fabrication process.
The workshop was founded by Mike Hausmann with the intention of creating a space dedicated to crafting solid-wood pieces, preserving the essence of traditional joinery techniques that have accompanied humanity for centuries and are gradually disappearing.
Both an engineer and a designer, Mike Hausmann creates unique wooden furniture pieces. After completing his engineering studies in France and gaining industry experience, he decided to immerse himself in the world of cabinetmaking, spending two years working and learning under a master craftsman. Afterwards, he joined a product design studio, where he further refined craftsmanship and attention to detail through design.
Table crafted in French oak and finished with clear oil for a client in Barcelona. A design with clean, simple lines to give the piece a sense of lightness.
Fina is a Galician woman who sells fruit on Sundays. Fina is the line a pen leaves when my wife writes. Fina is the refined flour used to make arepas. Fina is a light, simple chair, handcrafted with great care.
Now, with his own workshop, he has been developing projects as a craftsman and creating products as a designer.
